PTFA
The PTFA raises vital funds for school that help to enrich our curriculum and they also bring our Grange family together at the events we organise. Our PTFA buys every child in reception a book bag when they first join Grange and they also buy every year 4 child their leavers t-shirt and pay for their disco when they end their time with us.
We have some ambitious plans to convert our cottage into an incredible space for our Grange children and the PTFA are aiming to raise money to provide resources for this project.
We have some exciting events planned for this next half term:
Thursday 29th February & Friday 1st March Uniform Swap Table
Thursday 7th March World Book Day Book Swap & Stall
Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th March Parents Evening Refreshments
Friday 22nd March Bunny Bounce
Saturday 23rd March Easter Egg Hunt
Wednesday 27th March Easter Flower Jam Jar Workshop
Because your child attends Grange you are all automatically members of the PTFA and your input is always welcome and in fact invited. Please feel free to approach the new committee in the yard if you have any ideas or suggestions of what you would like the PTFA to be doing for our school.
Everyone involved with the PTFA gives their time voluntarily and we all have busy lives. If you would like to be involved with the PTFA, this doesn't mean you have to commit a large amount of time or even commit to helping regularly. If all you can do is help out at one event, then we would be grateful for your input.
How else can you be involved with the PTFA?
We are looking for corporate partners to offer matched funding against all of the funds we raise. Do you work for a company that might be interested in supporting a local school?
Have you signed up for EasyFundraising? This is a free, easy way to raise money for the PTFA while doing your usual online shopping.
Do you have a business that could offer something to our events? Or do you know someone who offers services that could help? Think of things like, bouncy castles, kids entertainment, a business that could donate supplies or refreshments or anything else you can think of?
If you would like to contact the PTFA you can always leave a message at the school office or email karen_alexander@hotmail.co.uk
