Grange First School Street

Making changes in your area to create safer, cleaner and greener neighbourhoods.

A School Street will operate on Norham Road for Grange First School from 15th July 2022.

On school days, the street outside Grange First school will be closed to traffic in the mornings when pupils arrive and on afternoons when they go home.

The closure will be in place from 8am until 9.30am and again from 2.30pm until 4pm.

During those times traffic won't be allowed to drive along Norham Road, and parents and carers won't be able to stop there to drop off or pick up their children.

Residents and some other drivers, including blue badge holders, will still have access to the street but other traffic will have to use alternative routes during these times of the day. 

Children, parents and carers will be encouraged to walk, scoot and cycle to school, or to park further away and walk the rest of the journey.
