Handwriting drop-in sessions

Over 200 parents and carers attended our sessions which is wonderful! Here are two of our nursery children threading hoops onto spaghetti. This is a great activity for developing fine motor skills.

Remembrance Day
Fri 10 Nov 2023We have had a Remembrance Day assembly this week in school. I shared memories of both my grandad’s. My Grandad Reg was a warden in WW2 in London and my Grandad John was a firefighter at the hospital in Ashington. Mr Wilkinson used to be in the army and brought his medals in to school to show us. We all had 1 minute of silence today to remember and thank the people who helped to protect and take care of us during wars. Remembrance is also a time of hope for a peaceful future.
